Why

Are you confused about MMC requirements for math and how to best implement them in an alternative education setting?  At this one day conference, participants will learn the “nuts and bolts” of the MMC requirements, along with alternative ways for students to demonstrate mastery and proficiency in math class content. Participants will have the opportunity to develop a plan to improve proficiency and success for all students.

     STARS is a student leadership program sponsored by the Michigan Alternative Education Organization (MAEO) for students enrolled in MAEO affiliated schools or programs.

Participation in STARS helps students to:
